Child Find Awareness - Provides participants with an understanding of services available through FDLRS Child Find for children birth to 5 who have special needs.
Disability Awareness - Design a lesson for student that involves simulations in which students experience what it would be like to have a disability. It includes, but is not limited to: SLD,PI,D/HH, Speech, and Autism. Participants will also learn the appropriate language to use when dealing with people with disabilities.
We're More Alike Than Different - A hands on disability program forstudents designed to increase sensitivity to individuals with disabilities. Activities simulate visual, hearing, and physical impairments, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, etc.
